At Partnership for the Performing Arts, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to discover, create, and grow through the arts.

For years, PPA has partnered with schools, educators, musicians, the Yurok Tribe, the Tolowa Dee-Ni’ Nation and community organizations to expand access to meaningful arts experiences for students across the Wild Rivers Coast. From live performances and music education to mentorship and community partnerships, our programs are designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and open doors to new opportunities.

The Wild Rivers Performing Arts and Civic Center will provide a permanent home for these experiences, but our commitment to students is already making a difference today.

Our Kids Deserve Every Opportunity

For decades, students throughout Del Norte County have pursued excellence in music, theater, and dance without the facilities and resources commonly found in many other school districts.

Today, the county’s largest concert appropriate venue seats just 385 people and lacks the stage capacity needed to support many performances. Students and teachers know firsthand how limited space can restrict rehearsal, performance, collaboration, and artistic growth.

The challenge isn’t a lack of talent.

It’s a lack of opportunity.

Through educational programs, community partnerships, and future investments like the Wild Rivers Performing Arts and Civic Center, PPA is working to ensure every student has the opportunity to learn, perform, and thrive.
